The Peoria Medical Society would like to highlight the following events. Please note that unless otherwise stated, all events are sponsored entirely by the Peoria Medical Society as a member benefit. All meetings will be held at Barrack's Cater Inn in Peoria unless otherwise stated. Spouses of members are invited to attend at no charge.

May 18, 2010 Peoria Medical Society hosts the first annual Vendor Fair! All physicians in Peoria County are invited to attend along with their spouse and Office Administrator. Enjoy music, food, beverage and an opportunity to interact with more than 18 vendors and a chance to socialize with your peers! Please call the society office at 692-1192 for reservations.

No meetings through June, July and August

September 21,2010 will be an open forum candicates meeting with current candidates running for offices in the area and on a state level.

October 19,2010 will host the President of the Illinois State Medical Society, Dr. Steve Malkin. This meeting will be held at the Kickapoo Creek Winery.

November 16, 2010 will be the annual business meeting and election of officers for the Peoria Medical Society and the Peoria Medical Society & Alliance Charitable & Educational Foundation, Inc.

Annual ISMS House of Delegates Meeting, Oakbrook, IL.
The Peoria Medical Society sent 7 delegates to represent the physicians in Peoria County. In 2008, the Peoria Medical Society submitted 10 resolutions to the Illinois State Medical Society. Please contact Meg Williams at the society office if you have suggestions for resolutions to submit at the next annual meeting. TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN HEALTHCARE IN ILLINOIS!
